About Me

Dr. Andrew Rozsa is currently Lecturer of Trombone at Illinois Wesleyan University and Lecturer of Trombone at College of DuPage (IL).  Currently living in the Chicagoland area, Andy holds a Doctor of Music from McGill University, a Performers’ Certificate from DePaul University, a Master of Music from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and a Bachelor of Music from Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory of Music. His primary teachers were Doug Bennett, Allen Kofsky, Thomas Klaber, Charles Vernon, Mark Fisher, Floyd Cooley, James Box, and Pierre Beaudry. Rozsa was previously a member of the Dubuque Symphony, the Cedar Rapids Symphony, the Lira Ensemble, and the American Wind Symphony. He has taught at McGill University, and was a bass trombone participant at the 2011 Alessi Seminar.
